The Thread Gatherer - Sheep's Silk - Silk & Wool- Needlepoint Thread -

The Thread Gatherer's Sheep's Silk is a wonderful overdyed thread that is 50% wool and 50% silk.  This thread has a nice texture making it ideal for stitching designs that need texture i.e. clothing, trees, etc.  The overdye process gives each color a blending of colors that works so well in Needlepoint.  Since these are hand-dyed the color number will often have a wide range of variation even though it's the same dye lot.  If you select a color and purchase more than one I will attempt to select colors that are very close if not identical.  These threads have been stored in a smoke free home and are in pristine condition.  This is one grouping of colors that remain from some of my projects and I have a second group of other colors posted, please check those for other colors.  Any questions please contact me thru eBay messenger.  Thanks for looking.
